A witty and poignant tale about uptight, pompous Professor Lawrence Wetherhold, who in the years following his wife's death, has become a scourge to his students and an emotionally absent father to his rebellious son and perfect preppy daughter. When he meets and unexpectedly falls for a beautiful ER doctor, the professor must learn to reconnect with the people around him.
